About Linda Chapman
After graduating in art photography, I worked in a leading London fine art studio, eventually moving onto freelance work in theatre, music and PR industries. Whilst it was great fun, I missed the creativity of fine art photography, so returned to my artistic roots 3 years ago. I love to explore different ways of looking at every day things and have an unceasing fascination with reflections and light. As a photographer, I have always relied upon my eye rather than a computer program to create the images you see. I work in a very simple traditional way, preferring to use what is naturally “there” – light, colours, shadows and reflections. I photograph exactly what I see and do not use manipulation or Photoshop to create or layer the image – just a little emphasis of colours to bring out what I can see.
I graduated from Westminster College London in photography and then worked in a leading London fine art studio for 5 years. Moving on to freelance work in music, theatre and PR industries.
