About Selby Hurst Inglefield Saatchi Art Profile: https://www.saatchiart.com/selby Selby is a recent BA Fine Art graduate from Central St Martins UAL. Selby’s practice is currently textiles based, using the technique of rug punching/ rug hooking to create wall tapestries. However, she often experiments with different mediums and techniques within her practice, including drawing and writing. Her artwork focuses on themes of storytelling, autobiography and fantasy. Originating from Brighton, Selby is currently based and works in London.
Education: 2015-16 Foundation diploma at Central St Martins 2016-2019 Fine Art BA at Central St Martins
Featured Space: Zabludowicz Collection
Zabludowicz Collection is a philanthropic organisation based around a growing collection of contemporary art and a programme of international exhibitions, events and artists’ residencies. Founded in 1994, the Collection is dedicated to fostering new audiences and a sustainable environment for contemporary art, offering a variety of opportunities and support for artists, curators and art organisations. In 2007 the Zabludowicz Collection opened its London project space in a 19th century former Methodist chapel. All of its activities are privately funded and free for the public to access.
