About Heather Kennedy

I have been a registered nurse since 2018. This means I have a passion for people and recently been focusing my art on portraits. In summer 2019 I was judges commended on my self portrait in the Ruth Borchard award. I try to experiment with various materials however mostly I use watercolours, gouache and pencil to create my portraits.

Education:

I have an a level in art and design but made the decision to pursue nursing rather than art for university, meaning I am a self taught artist.
