Project Description
About Bobby Monteverde
Bobby Monteverde lives and works in London. Her practice unpacks the codifications of religion and commerce by producing photographs, olfaction, sculptures and installations which amalgamate the interwoven nature of these seemingly obverse subjects. Her long-term investigative research details the commodification of holy water, as well as virtual commercial platforms such as eBay. This research facilitates the creation of artworks that encapsulate the paradoxical coexistence of faith and consumerism.
