Sarabande was set up by the late designer, Lee Alexander McQueen to support creative and visionary talent. In addition to providing scholarships and studio space for artists, designers and makers, Sarabande produces an extensive and pioneering public programme of events, from the practical to the inspirational, to workshops and business mentoring.

FREELANDS FOUNDATION
The Freelands Foundation’s mission is to support artists and cultural institutions, to broaden audiences for the visual arts and to enable all young people to engage actively with the creation and enjoyment of art. Our goal is to tackle the critical issues that are limiting our society’s access to the benefits of art and culture; from the inequality of access to art education in schools, to the lack of sufficient support for female and emerging artists.
